SF-36進度-撰寫研究方法中

現在SF-36的進度為，仍然撰寫研究方法中。在撰寫的過程，看到作者引用前人所使用的研究方法，所以我嘗試找到所引用的書籍或期刊。現在有點困惑，我是只要cite原始資料，還是也要cite第二手資料(both or only original one)。假如我真的找不到原始資料，所以我可以只cite第二手資料嗎?

    Citing original source is the priority. We should give credit to the original ones.
    Why you couldn't find the original papers?
